Delete a build ​

Delete retained artifact bytes deliberately; QuollVault does not cascade them from parent deletion.

Prerequisites ​

You must be a current App Manager/Account Admin authorized for the Build. Confirm the exact Build before deletion.

Steps ​

  1. Open the Build detail page.
  2. Choose delete and confirm the exact target.
  3. QuollVault transitions the Build through deleting state, removes the exact private R2 object, then tombstones the Build.

Expected result ​

The artifact is no longer downloadable and storage capacity is released only after object deletion succeeds or absence is confirmed.

Common failures ​

If R2 deletion fails, the Build remains in a retryable deleting state and still counts toward retained storage. Do not manually delete database rows to bypass cleanup.
