Give a tester access ​

Use Build Tester grants for authenticated ongoing access.

Prerequisites ​

Account Admins can manage access broadly; App Managers can assign Build Tester access within their current Project/App authority.

Steps ​

  1. Open a ready Build.
  2. Assign by existing member or email.
  3. Existing member: QuollVault creates an explicit Build-scoped tester grant and sends the build-assignment email only if the grant is new.
  4. Non-member email: QuollVault creates a Build-scoped invitation and sends the invitation email.
  5. Remove the tester grant when access is no longer required.

Expected result ​

The tester sees covered ready Builds under My builds. Duplicate assignment is a no-op and sends no email.

Common failures ​

Expired/revoked invitations cannot be accepted; use resend only for a pending non-expired invitation. If the Build is no longer ready, new Build-scoped access fails closed.
